The thesis resolves the scientific task of forming the foreign language professional competence of future military management masters. The analysis of pedagogical theory and practice of foreign language training of military specialists in the system of military education has been carried out, the structure has been specified and the content of the foreign professional competence of future military management masters has been supplemented. The analysis of the state of research of the problem regarding formation of the foreign professional competence in pedagogical theory and practice has made it possible to clarify the essence and structure of the basic concept of "the foreign language professional competence of future military management masters" and to supplement it with professionally important characteristics. Consequently, the foreign language professional competence of the future military management masters is considered as an integrative professional entity, which is a set of language knowledge, foreign language skills and knowledge, experience in their use in a foreign language environment, and includes professionally important qualities of the officer, reflecting the ability to function in the foreign environment and readiness to fulfill the tasks during joint combat operations with NATO units. Based on the essential characteristics of the professional competence of future military management masters, in the structure of their foreign professional competence, the following components are distinguished: value and motivational, cognitive, operational and subjective one. Value and motivational component is connected with the development of the complex of professional values and motives for future military and professional activity, which allows to understand that formation of the foreign language professional competence is important for their professional development and successful military and professional activity. Cognitive component is aimed at mastering by future military management masters of linguistic and sociolinguistic knowledge that contributes to their effective military and professional activity. Operational component is manifested in the ability and readiness of future military management masters to perform their professional tasks in the foreign language environment independently and mobile, as well as to successfully solve professional and situational tasks using a foreign language in four types of speech: reading, listening, speaking and writing. Subjective component presupposes the presence of reflection and self-reflection, and is a multi-faceted quality of future military management masters, which manifests itself in its ability to self-examination, self-observation in its progress, a critical assessment of their abilities and knowledge of the foreign language; this, in turn, implies motivation of future military management masters for self-improvement and effective military and professional activity with the further use of the foreign language. In the thesis, the pedagogical modeling of formation of the foreign language professional competence of future military management masters is carried out, the result of which is professionally oriented model, containing four system-forming blocks: conceptual, content-related, methodical and results-related. A professionally oriented model schematically reflects stages, forms, methods, means, criteria, indicators of formation of the foreign language professional competence; shows psychological and pedagogical and organizational conditions of its formation. In order to implement the professionally oriented model with regard to formation of the foreign language professional competence of future military management masters, the author's method of blended learning at the higher military educational institution is used, which is a combination of effective elements and advantages of the intramural (in the auditorium under supervision of the teacher) and distance (e-learning) components of training, which function continuously and coherently, form one unit, provided that psychological and pedagogical and organizational conditions for formation of the foreign language professional competence of future military management masters in the system of postgraduate education are taken into account. Practical recommendations have been developed on the basis of the research of formation of the foreign language professional competence of the future military management masters, which contain substantiated proposals on the use of pedagogical modeling capabilities for the development of officers' foreign language professional competence in the postgraduate education system through the introduction of modern educational information and telecommunication technologies to higher military educational institutions.
