Essay

Object: Ukrainian liberation movement in the central-eastern Podillia in 1941-1953. Objective: to analyze the process of formation and functioning of the underground of the OUN in the central-eastern Podillia in 1941-1953. Methods: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, structural- systematic, systematization, synchronous, diachronic, comparative-historical, problem-chronological, biographical, retrospective, periodization, statistical, historical-genetic. Results: for the first time, the development of the Ukrainian liberation movement in the central-eastern Podillia in 1941-1953 was generalized complexly; the military-political activity of the derivative groups of the OUN in 1941-1942 was revealed; the organization of raids of UPA departments from Volyn and Ternopil region in 1943-1946 was restored; the negotiation process of the OUN and UPA leaders with the command of the Kamyanets-Podilsky partisan union named after F. Mykhailov was showed; archival material, which complements the picture of social and political life in Kamyanets-Podilskyi and Vinnytsia regions during the war and in post-war period is added to the scientific circulation; the system of reconstruction of the personnel of the Kamyanets-Podilsky District Provid, Dunaevetsky, Vinnytsya, Vinkovetsky, Kamyanets-Podilskyi, Bilohirs'kyi Oberland District Provids; the characteristics of the underground printing press of the OUN and their publishing and propaganda work were improved. Scope of use: for writing special and general works on the modern history of Ukraine during the period of the Second World War, preparation of special courses on historical regional studies, thematic museum exhibitions.
