Essay

The process of Russian military-political expansion in the Crimean direction during the XVII - early XXI centuries was reconstructed. The object of the study is the military, socio-political processes on the Crimean peninsula, the subject is the military-political expansion of the Russian Empire, the USSR, and the Russian Federation in the southern region of modern Ukraine. The methodological basis of labor is the principles of historicism, systemicity and objectivity in the approach to illumination events of the past on the basis of a comprehensive study of sources and scientific literature.
