Object of research -future specialist of marine industry professional training; the subject is a structural and functional model of the speech cuture of future specialist of marine industry in the process of professional training; the purpose of the research is to develop, theoretically substantiate and experimentally verify the effectiveness of the structural-functional model of the formation of the speech culture of future professionals in the maritime industry in the process of professional training; methods of research: theoretical, empirical, statistical; the scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the research is firstly the structural-functional model and organizational and pedagogical conditionsare developed, scientifically substantiated and experimentally verified for effective formation of the speech culture of future specialists in the maritime industry: oriented and competence-based approaches to education; taking into account the specifics of the subject-subject interaction of the participants in the process of study in the tine of professional training; application of traditional and innovative forms, methods, methods and means of study in the process of training; the methodology of speech culture development are tested in the process of professional training; the essence and structure of "the phenomenon of speech culture of marine industry future specialists", the speech culture (non-linguistic communication experience) necessity and expediency at the higher levels of the marine profile are determined.
