Essay

Object: the process of professional training of future cyber-security specialists at higher educational establishments; the aim: to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test pedagogical conditions of formation of self-educational competence of future cyber-security specialists during professional training at technical universities; the methods: analysis and systematization of scientific literature, regulatory document, synthesis of conceptual foundations, questionnaires, testing, conversation, observation, expert assessment, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: pedagogical conditions of the formation of self-educational competence of future cybersecurity specialists are grounded and experimentally confirmed; structural components of self-educational competence of future cybersecurity specialists are defined and characterized; criteria, indices and levels of formation of self-educational competence of future cybersecurity specialists are substantiated; results: the programme and academic materials for the special course ‘Self-education and professional success’ for students of cybersecurity programme of study, the methodology instructions for teachers on the formation of self-educational competence of future cybersecurity specialists are developed. A set of diagnostic materials is created. Cloud-based bank of visualized educational materials on the disciplines of professional and general training, methodological guidelines for teachers on the use of cloud-based educational services for students’ independent work optimization are compiled; subject area: theory and methodology of professional education
