The object is the professional training of future teachers of fine arts.The purpose - the pedagogical conditions for the formation of designer competence of future teachers of fine arts in professional trainingto theoretically substantiated and experimentally verified. There are theoretical, empirical, statistical methods.Novelty - scientifically substantiated the essence and structure of the phenomenon "design competence of future teachers of fine arts",pedagogical conditions of formation of designer competence of future teachers of fine arts.The model of formation of designer competence of future teachers of fine arts in the professional training is developed.The theory and method of professional training of future teachers of fine arts for design activities became the basis for further development.Results - diagnostic and experimental methods,special course "Media Space" are developed; the course "Fundamentals of Design" for the applicants of the educational level "Bachelor" of the specialty "Fine Arts" was supplemented and tested.Implementation efficiency is high.
