Nesterenko V. Kharkiv urban space: the history of buildings and population (the end of XVIII – the early XX century)

The object of research: formation of Kharkiv urban space. The aim of research: to determine which actors created the Kharkiv urban space between 1764 and 1914 and how they interact with each other. The subject of research: the interaction of the actors in this process. The results of research: the complex research of the formation of Kharkiv urban space in the imperial day (the end of XVIII – the early XX century) was carried out and the factors that determined its development were defined. The activity of human and material actors of this process is determined on the basis of the Actor-Network Theory. For the first time, the periodization of the development of Kharkiv urban space in the days of the Russian Empire was proposed and archival sources on the development of the city were introduced into scientific circulation in the 1960s of XIX century and at the early XX century and the pictures that allow to reconstruct the appearance of individual parts of Kharkiv urban space. Based on the descriptions of the boundaries of the urban area, in Google My Maps was created a map, which allows to trace and significantly clarify the dynamics of changes in the city area. The sphere of usage: the further research of the current subject, writing of the synthesis works, manuals, reading of the high school courses on the history of Ukraine.
