Yeremenko Y. Legal and organizational foundations of the prosecutor's offices specialization in Ukraine

This dissertation reveals the theoretical, legal and organizational foundations of the specialization of the prosecutor's office. It reveals the phenomenon of specialization in the public relations and its influence on efficiency and productivity of labor. The research determines this specialization as the concentration of authority, knowledge, activity, in the definite direction of application. In addition, this research gives the definition of the prosecutor's office and the specialized prosecutor's office. The author explains the essence of the specialization of the units, the reasons and grounds for specialization, types and characteristics of the specialization of the prosecutor's offices. A specialized prosecutor's office can be considered as the special unit of the prosecutor's office system, formed purposely according to the legislation and public interests. It carries out the functions provided by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, and has specific jurisdiction in accordance to the subject-sectoral, object or subject-orientated matters. This unit is endowed with special features that make it more suitable for efficient and productive functioning in specific areas of social relations. Also it is headed by the head-prosecutor.
