Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the decision of the actual issue of increasing the efficiency of mixing water with the reagent and the work of water treatment plants in the preparation of drinking water. The following results are obtained: an improved design of a mixer of a corridor type with partitions is developed, which greatly increases the intensity of mixing of reagents with water, and creates effective conditions for mixing several reagents with water; hydraulic modeling of mixers with equal speed was executed; the equation of regression of the process of mixing water reagents with a mixer of the corridor type with partitions of the improved design and the drainage process after it is obtained; a numerical simulation of the work of the mixer of the corridor type with partitions of the improved design; the technique and algorithm of the calculation of the mixer of the improved design are developed; The calculation of the economic efficiency of the developed method of increasing the efficiency of the mixers operation was made. The results of the work were implemented at the treatment facilities of the second lift of the second block of the Water Treatment Complex "Donets" the Municipal Enterprise "Kharkiwodokanal" and are used in the developments of Kharkov Vodokanalproekt OJSC and NPP Prominvestproekt LLC.
