Object of study: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); aim: to development of an algorithm for diagnosis and prognosis of primary and secondary haemostasis disorders in COPD patients which is based on the disease severity, systemic inflammation intensity, pathologic process phase and treatment received by patients; methods of research: general clinical, instrumental, functional, laboratory, biochemical, statistics; novelty: data on the severity of hemostatic disorders in COPD patients was supplemented; obtained information was based on estimation of disease severity and level of systemic inflammation, phase of pathologic process and received treatment; for the first time, the prognostic significance of the platelet adhesion index for assessing the state of the primary linkage of hemostasis and the level of C-reactive protein for assessing the state of the secondary linkage of hemostasis in COPD patients were established; an algorithm for diagnostics and prognosis of disorders of primary and secondary units of hemostasis in patients with COPD, which takes into account the disease severity, intensity of systemic inflammation, phase of the pathological process as well as received therapy, was developed.
