The object is the upbringing of patriotic feelings in preschool children. The purpose is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions for the upbringing of patriotic feelings among older preschoolers by means of fiction literature. The novelty - pedagogical conditions for the development of patriotic feelings in children of the older preschool age were determined and theoretically substantiated by means of fiction literature;the essence and structure of the phenomenon "the cultivation of patriotic feelings in children of the olderpreschool age" wasdetermined;criteria, indicators were developed and the level of education of patriotic feelings in the children of the older preschool age was determined.The method of patriotic upbringing of children of preschool age has been further developed.Results -the diagnostic and experimental methods of raising patriotic feelings in older preschool children by means of fiction literature have been developed and experimentally tested; special course "Parenting of patriotic feelings in preschool children", course"Governance"for students of higher education institutions.Implementation efficiency is high. The branch is a pedagogical, educational institutions.
