Essay

The dissertation describes the evolutionary changes in the settlement and administrative structure of the region. It was found that agriculture was developing slowly, but significant changes took place in the development of crafts and trade. In public life, the early development of statehood, the long-term preservation of the leading positions of the princely stratum, the growth of property inequality and the gradual strengthening of the role of small landowners have been noted. It is noted that Volyn culture gradually evolved from classically ancient Russ to European.
