Veresenko O. Seed quality and yield properties of white lupine seeds, depending on the phases of ripeness and application of herbicides

The object of research is the process of formation and realization of crop qualities and yield properties of white lupine seeds depending on the influence of the investigated factors. The purpose of the research is to establish the peculiarities of the formation and realization of the crop qualities and yield properties of white lupine seeds, depending on the application of herbicides and ripeness phases, scientific substantiation of the expediency of application of herbicides, and the determination of optimal harvest time for maximal yield of high quality seeds. Research methods are general scientific. The practical significance of the results is to increase the efficiency of seedlings of white lupine at the expense of increasing yields and improving crop properties and yield properties of the seeds. Novelty - for the first time in the conditions of the northern forest-steppe of Ukraine, an in-depth assessment of the sensitivity of the lupine white selections of the NSC "Institute of Agriculture of the NAAN" to the application of soil herbicides with different active substances and timing has been made, their influence on the seed quality and yield properties of the seeds is determined. The peculiarities and patterns of formation and realization of sowing qualities, biochemical composition and yield properties of seeds depending on the stages of ripeness are established. Scientific developments in 2017-2018 were implemented at agricultural enterprises of Cherkasy region, at the Institute of Agricultural Microbiology and Agro-Industrial Production of the National Academy of Sciences of the Chernigiv, in the NSC "Institute of Agriculture of the NAAN", Kyiv-Svyatoshinsky district of Kyiv region, covering a total area of 70 hectares.
