Lukhtan A. International military cooperation of Ukraine (1991-2013)

The dissertation, taking into account the achievements of the national historiography on a broad and representative source base, part of which is introduced into scientific circulation for the first time, presents the results of the study of the formation of international military cooperation of Ukraine (1991-2013) and its development in bilateral relations with the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Belarus, taking into account their foreign policy orientation on the development of security policy in the region. The author's periodization of the formation of international military cooperation of Ukraine was proposed and grounded, characteristic features were revealed, taking into account military and political events, the evolution of the regulatory and legal ensuring of cooperation was determined. The experience of the formation and development of international military cooperation of Ukraine with the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Belarus was generalized, the features of the treaty and legal ensuring of cooperation in the military sphere were revealed. The conceptual and categorical apparatus on the topic of the dissertation was clarified. Recommendations on the use of the results obtained during the study and the continuation of scientific research in order to improve the effectiveness of international military cooperation with the states of the world were formed.
