Beley S. Development of the composition, technology and investigation of the tablets based on malva sylvestris and plantago lanceolata extracts

Objects – malva sylvestris flowers and plantago lanceolata leaves, dry extracts of malva sylvestris flowers and plantago lanceolata leaves, excipients, compression mixture and tablets based on them; aim – substantiation of the composition, technology development and research of the tablets based on the extracts of malva sylvestris flowers and plantago lanceolata leaves for the treatment of the unproductive cough at the diseases of respiration system; methods – general scientific, organoleptic, physical and chemical, pharmaco-technological, microbiological, biological, mathematical and statistical; novelty – the pharmaceutical development of a new formulation drug in the form of tablets based on standardized extracts of malva sylvestris flowers and plantago lanceolata leaves intended for the treatment of the unproductive cough at the colds has been carried out; results – the technology of dry phytoextracts has been developed, their physical and chemical and pharmaco-technological studies have been carried out with usage of the mathematical planning of the experiment, the optimal composition and technology of the tablets based on standardized dry extracts of malva sylvestris flowers and plantago lanceolata leaves have been theoretically substantiated and experimentally proved, the methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis for the developed tablets have been worked out, the shelf-life and storage conditions for the tablets have been defined, pharmacological properties of the developed tablets have been studied, the approbation of the technology and control techniques for the quality of dry phytoextracts and tablets based on them have been conducted in industrial production; introduced – into the educational process of higher educational institutions, LTD «Ternopharm»; branch – pharmacy.
