The Object of Research - professional training of doctors-anesthesiologists etists.; the Subject of Research is the professional training of doctors-anesthesiologists in the countries of Western Europe; methods of Research - theoretical, which include different types of analysis: terminology - in order to determine the basic concepts of research; comparative-pedagogical - for the study of the problem of the development of medical education in Ukraine and in Western European countries; system-structural - to identify trends in the development of medical education in the educational policy of the countries of Western Europe and Ukraine; diachronic - for the study of progressive changes in the systems of vocational training of doctors-anesthesiologists from the countries of Western Europe and Ukraine; comparison and synthesis of the actual material - to determine the directions of use of progressive experience of Western European countries in the training of doctors-anesthesiologists; empirical - analysis of statistical data, description of factual information, interviews with students, teachers and scientists of higher medical education institutions in order to specify facts and provisions; the Purpose of the Study is to characterize the professional training of doctors-anesthesiologists in the countries of Western Europe (Great Britain, Germany, France) and to determine and theoretically substantiate the possibilities of using Western European positive experience in organizing and conducting appropriate training of specialists in the system of higher medical education; the scientific novelty of the results of the study is that for the first time the training of doctors-anesthesiologists in Western European countries, in particular, in the United Kingdom, Germany and France, was grounded; the component character of the modern system of professional preparation of doctors-anesthesiologists in the countries of Western Europe (legislative and normative base, educational establishments and centers, state programs of preparation of doctors-anesthesiologists, multilevel educational and consulting programs) is determined; structural-content (standardization, diversification of educational programs based on the competence approach; continuity of education (bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctor of philosophy, etc.) and procedural (integration of traditional and innovative forms and methods of teaching; informatization of educational process; logical combination of studying in large and small groups; distance learning); peculiarities of professional preparation of doctors-anesthesiologists; the comparative-pedagogical analysis of the professional training of doctors-anesthesiologists from the countries of Western Europe and Ukraine; the possibility of using progressive ideas in the experience of professional preparation of doctors-anesthesiologists of Western Europe in order to improve the system of professional training of doctors-anesthesiologists in Ukraine at the national, regional levels, as well as at the level of employment services and higher medical educational institutions is substantiated.
