In the dissertation research is considered that component the phenomenom of virtua realiti, which is formed in the environment of the Internet. In studying the influence of virtual reality on the formation of human identty, the peculiarities ofthe socio-cultural space of the postmodern era were taken into account. A modern view of identity is explored. The features of the modern view of identity are revealed: the return of the category of "subject" to philosophical discourse; multiplicity of identity; the return to reality in the sense of identity, which can be linked with the special interest of modern researchers to the theme of corporeality.
