Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the question of pedagogical conditions of functioning of physical and mathematical workshops of after-school educational institutions. In manuscript analyzed current state of functioning of after-school educational institutions, physical-mathematical workshops in theory and pedagogical practice. Relevance and importance of the dissertation caused by necessity of finding new approaches for functioning of workshops of institutions of after-school education, identification of effective pedagogical conditions. This is due to the adoption of the new Law of Ukraine "On Education", which legislatively establishes after-school education as an integral component of the education system via introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On After-school Education". Established, that in modern conditions physical and mathematical workshops of institutions of after-school education are part of the system of after-school education, whose purpose of activity in development of individual in the process of studying physics, mathematics, science and technology. The structure of pedagogical conditions of activity of physical and mathematical workshops of institutions of after-school education is showed and revealed, that main components of it are normative, educational, personnel, informational, material-technical. Revealed STEM as effective pedagogical condition and identified pedagogical conditions of efficient functioning of physical-mathematical workshops of after-school educational institutions on the basis of STEM approach. The basic principles of the STEM approach in functioning of physics-mathematics workshops of institutions of after-school education defined as interdisciplinarity, integration, accessibility, practicality, visualization. The developed pedagogical conditions of activity of physical-mathematical workshops of after-school educational institutions were experimentally tested and was shown their efficient.
