The dissertation is devoted to the urgent theme of upbringing in preschool children of the bases of the culture of using media production in pre-school establishments. The essence of the concept of "upbringing in children of the senior preschool age of the bases of the culture of the using of media production" is determined, which we regard as a dynamic, personal characteristic of the child, determined by the interest of media production and awareness of the motive of its use, the formation of elementary knowledge about mass media, readiness for discussion of perceived media content, and orientation on observance of rules of cultural use of media production. The components (cognitive, emotional and values, activity), criteria (cognitive, emotional and values, behavioral), corresponding indicators and educational levels of the indicated personality characteristic (high, average, low) are determined. For the first time, theoretically grounded and experimentally verified the pedagogical conditions of education in children of the preschool age of the bases of the culture of the using of media production in pre-school establishments (improvement of theoretical and methodical training of preschool educational institutions in relation to the education of the bases of the culture of the using of media production in preschool children, awareness of parents on issues the education of children of the basics of the culture of the using of media production; the creation of a subject-game media environment in order to enriching children's experience in the use of media production; enriching the contents of the educational process, aimed at raising the basis of the culture of the using of media production in preschool-age children).
