Object: the motivational sphere of personality. Objective: theoretical substantiation and empirical study of the features of latent personality motivation in the structure of labor motivation of customs officers. Methods: theoretical - analysis, synthesis, comparison, classification and generalization of theoretical concepts and schemes of analysis of the content of the motivational sphere of personality, modeling. Novelty: meaningfully differentiated concepts of "hidden motives", "unconscious motives", "unconscious motives", "concealed motives"; conceptualized the notion of hidden motives of the person who are really active, unconscious and hidden from the conscious analysis of the personality, but from the unconscious to the conscious ones; the features of latent personality motivation in the structure of labor motivation as well-known and unconscious experiences as determined by the actual and basic needs of the individual, whose satisfaction motivates the work activity, is determined; the theoretical model of the structure of labor motivation of the customs service employees is developed that describes the relationship between the hidden motivation of the individual and the motivational factors of labor activity, namely: the socio-demographic characteristics of the investigated, the factors of the organizational environment, the attractiveness of aspects of work and apparent labor motivation; The peculiarities of the hidden motivation of the personality of the customs service employees by means of psycho-semantics methods are determined; The structural interdisciplinary interaction of the hidden personality motivation on the subsystem of the structure of labor motivation of customs officers was established. The results of the study: the theoretical significance of the dissertation research is to determine the hidden personality motivation, and the research of the relationship between the hidden personality motivation (on the example of the customs service) and the motivational factors of labor activity, namely: socio-demographic characteristics of the investigated ones, factors of the organizational environment, attractiveness of aspects of labor and explicit labor motivation The practical significance is the development of psychological recommendations for improving the professional selection of candidates for service, optimizing the process of systematic monitoring of specialists for the subject of integrity.
