Essay

The dissertation presents a holistic retrospective analysis for the development of preschool education in the South of Ukraine (second half of the XX – the beginning of the XXI century); studied the source base; preconditions and factors have been clarified (external - socio-political, socio-economic, regional; internal - educational, regulatory, ideological, organizational, methodical, axiological) On the foundation of criteria developed by the author, its successive stages were determined: the first – planned-ideological (1950–1990) – was characterized by the purposeful deployment of preschool education in the South of Ukraine with an emphasis on the ideological and political orientation of its content and tasks; the second – transformation-stagnatical (1991–2000); the tendencies (permanent; temporary; positive; negative), regularities and peculiarities of the development of preschool education in the South of Ukraine of the studied period were conducted; the perspectives of usage of constructive experience of pre-school education in the Southern region of Ukraine in conditions of innovative development of the industry have been revealed.
