Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the deepening of the essence of the socio-geographical principles in studying the population employment in the recreational and tourist area, its typology and classification. The recreational and tourist sphere is analyzed in details, the processes of population employment are characterized, theoretical and methodical principles of studying the population employment are offered, the principles, approaches and methods of research are defined. The questions of primary sources of the population employment, socio-geographical features of the Chernivtsi region population employment in the recreational and tourist sphere are discussed. The demographic characteristic of the Chernivtsi region population is offed, the state of the labor market and youth employment, rural and urban population are analysed, the population employment in the recreational and tourist sector is defined, the main tendencies of unemployment and labor market functioning are analyzed. On the subjects of tourism activity and individuals-entrepreneurs example the current demand and supply of employment in the Chernivtsi region recreational and tourist sector are analized, the regional differences are shoved and on their basis the regional territory zoning is made. The modern population employment processes in the economic complex of the region are revealed. The general conclusion of the work is as follows: in the Chernivtsi region clearly distinguishes the disproportion of the population employment in cities and villages. Most of all the urban population has the opportunity to be employed. However, in some regional districts, which have good transport comunications with the Chernivtsi regional metropolitan area, there is a pendulum population labor migration. Inter-district and inner-district employment is observed in those region settlements, which today actively develop recreational and tourist sphere. The priority tendency of the population employment is the revival of employment in the countryside. In order to reduce the tension in the village, the regional employment service carries out certification of village and settlement councils, and concludes bilateral cooperation agreements between local self-government bodies and employment centers.
