Atamaniuk M. Economic-geographical diagnostics of the use of land resources of the Ukrainian Carpathian region

he dissertation covers the main concepts related to the use of natural resources. The algorithm of research of the chosen subject is substantiated. The time intervals of research conducted in the field of land resources were monitored. The natural-geographical, socio-economic and ecological-geographical factors of formation of the structure of the land fund of the territory of the Ukrainian Precarpathians are analyzed. Based on the analysis of previously carried out schemes of zoning of the territory of the selected region, the boundaries of the territory of the study were distinguished in the context of the lower administrative-territorial units, and the natural-economic zoning was carried out: the region-suboblast-district. According to research results, 1 natural-economic region - Ukrainian Precarpathian region, within which the lower territorial-hierarchical units are located, are 3 natural-economic suboblasts and 11 natural-economic districts. On the basis of the located units of natural and economic zoning, a structural and functional analysis of land use for all categories of land was carried out, the agricultural development of the territory, the level of attraction of land for economic accounting were determined. In addition, the shares in each of the constituent categories of land are investigated and calculated in detail. Series of maps was created. On the basis of economic-geographical diagnostics of the study area, the main indicators of ecological destructiveness of the territory of the Ukrainian Precarpathians, which influence the rational use of land resources, are determined. The proposed method of estimation of the territory for the influence of ecologically destructive indicators and calculated the total ranking of places for the analysis of the territory in the economic-geographical and ecological diagnostics of land resources. Calculations were made for all twelve indicators of ecodesign. Based on the results, four ranges of rating places were identified which allow us to characterize the level of environmental degradation in the territory of the Ukrainian Precarpathians. The obtained conclusions made it possible to develop a block system of recommendations for the rational use of land resources of the Ukrainian Carpathian region. The difference between the optimal and available shares of land in each of the categories is calculated.
