The thesis analyzes the general principles of Ukrainian secondary school headmaster’s organizational and educational activity in the second half of the XXth century; the provision of social, economic and political features of the specificity, content and purpose of secondary school headmaster’s activity in the framework of organizational and educational aspects has been developed; the basic principles of a headmaster’s managerial activity in Ukrainian secondary school in the chronological boundaries of the research have been systematized and generalized; an attempt to form a modern theoretical model of an effective management concerning an organizational and educational headmaster’s activity has been made.
