In the dissertation the theoretical analysis of the problem of formation of key competences of future teachers of natural sciences in the pedagogical theory and practice; the conceptual construct «key competences of future teachers of natural sciences» was investigated and the structure of such competencies was substantiated for ensuring the process of professional training in pedagogical centers. The effectiveness of the structural-functional model of the formation of key competences of future teachers of natural sciences in the professional training was developed and experimentally verified; the educational and methodological support for the formation of key competences of future teachers of natural sciences in the process of professional training was created. The structural-functional model of formation of key competencies of future teachers of natural sciences in the process of professional training in the unity of motivation-target, content-operational and performance-evaluated units of professional training, which are in dynamic unity, is substantiated. The conceptual construct «key competences of future teachers of natural sciences» is defined as a set of dynamic, cross-learning, functional and substantive characteristics of the individual resulting from the development of the informational and subject environment of an educational institution, self-education and social-perceptual interaction within the framework of the professional training process; groups educational and methodological support of the process of formation of key competences of future teachers of natural sciences in the professional training at the pedagogical university and provided with relevant recommendations for its application. Improved and adapted to the needs of the work pedagogical conditions of the process of professional training of future teachers of natural specialties (actualization of motivation to acquire key competencies in the process of educational and self-education activities, organization of information and subject environment with an orientation towards integration of knowledge on natural and psychological and pedagogical disciplines, promotion of reflection, self-organization, creative independence, ensuring the acquisition of personal experience; subject-subjective interaction of process participants in the profession ing training); Specifics and scientifically substantiated components of professional training (subject-content, practical-applied, methodical-instrumental), criteria and indicators (value-motivational, cognitive-activity, person-reflexive), levels (high, average, low) of formation according to the scheme of key competences of future teachers of natural sciences in the process of professional training; Further development of methodical aspects of the formation of key competencies of future teachers of natural sciences in the process of training.
