Denysova O. Diagnostics and treatment of infectious exacerbation of chronic bronchitis

Object of research: infectious exacerbation of chronic bronchitis; the goal is to optimize the etiological diagnosis of infectious exacerbation of chronic bronchitis (IEChB) on the basis of modern pathogen identification technologies and to increase the efficiency of treatment of patients with this ailment by using antiseptic decamethoxine and amino acid L-arginine aspartate; research methods – generally accepted clinical, instrumental, functional, laboratory, biochemical, molecular biological, statistical; novelty – the algorithm of etiological diagnostics of IEChB is developed, which allows to establish the etiology of exacerbation of ChB within one day; scientific data on the spectrum of pathogens of ChB was supplemented; for the first time scientifically proved use of inhalations of 0,02% solution of decamethoxine in patients with IEChB; new scientific data on the state of lipid peroxidation in patients with IEChB were obtained and on the basis of the obtained results a new method of treatment of patients with non-severe exacerbation of ChB was developed.
