This dissertation is one of the first comprehensive studies in the legal science of Ukraine that deals with the theoretical and legal problems of the place, legal status and organizational and legal basis of the work of the prosecutor's office in the system of specialized anti-corruption authorities of Ukraine in the process of implementing the anti-corruption strategy of Ukraine and approximation of national legislation to norms and standards of European Union. As a result of the research, a number of new scientific provisions, conclusions, recommendations and proposals were formulated. The paper describes the concept and system of anti-corruption bodies of Ukraine. The role of specialized anti-corruption bodies is substantiated; understanding of their functions is improved. The functions of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine are determined. The regulatory support for the functioning of the anti-corruption bodies of Ukraine and its current state are analyzed. The essence and content of the organizational basis of the activities of the prosecutor's office in the system of specialized anti-corruption bodies of Ukraine are clarified. The legal status of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office is analyzed. The essence of the forms and methods of activity of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office is being clarified. The classification of the methods of activity of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office is being improved. The personnel, logistical and informational support of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office is analyzed. As a result of the analysis of foreign experience of the activities of the prosecution authorities in the system of anti-corruption authorities, the possibilities of its use in Ukraine are highlighted. The ways of improving the activity of the prosecutor's office and its interaction with other bodies in the system of specialized anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine are suggested.
