Essay

In dissertation a complex study of the state of Orthodox clergy is undertaken on Volyn at the end of the XVIIIth at the beginning of the XXth century. The ways of forming to the clergy of the Volyn province are shown as the task force, it is analyzed clergyman of by age-old and education criteria. The sources of acuestss of clericals, their material states are set. Service of parochial priests is described in the organs of diocese management, participating of the Volyn clergy is exposed in the activity of party of «Union of the Russin people». The pastoral activity of the clergy is investigational.
