Essay

The research problem has been determined and the concept «boarding school pupils` readiness for family life» has been clarified. It is considered as a complicated personal formation, the result of a planned and purposeful process of preparing boarding schools` pupils for family life. The boarding school pupils` readiness for family life has been specified. It is represented by interrelated components: cognitive, emotional and value, behavioral and praxical components. To study the problem of boarding school pupils` readiness for family life criteria and indicators has been determined: informational and cognitive, motivation and value, action and activity. The social and pedagogical conditions of boarding school pupils` formation of readiness for family life has been substantiated. To achieve the social and pedagogical conditions some activities were developed and implemented: a set of training exercises «Family happiness – walking together», the social and pedagogical project «Family begins with goodness», the program of boarding school pupils` formation of readiness for family life «Characteristics of pupils` readiness for family life in 8-10 classes», the plan of pupils` meetings with representatives of the social services center, volunteer associations, representatives of medical and legal spheres, religious denominations, screenings of films.
