The study is devoted to the problem of the training of the future teachers for the development of creative abilities of pupils during the educational activities of elementary school. The conceptual foundations of the training of future teachers for the development of creative abilities of pupils of elementary school, the role of this profession in the context of historical development of education are revealed. The contradictions that impede the training of future teachers are outlined. The clarification of the essence of these categories provided an opportunity to present the readiness of future teachers to develop the creative abilities of pupils in the educational activities of primary school as an integrative set of personality traits acquired during professional training, and the ability to solve professional problems and situations successfully through creative, interactive methods and innovational-reflexive technologies. The structure of the future teachers’ readiness for the development of pupils’ creative abilities in the educational activity of the elementary school, which includes interrelated components and each of them has certain content, is determined and scientifically substantiated (motivational, cognitive, instrumental and reflexive components’). On the basis of the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature on the subject of study, the study of the component composition of the training of future teachers for the development of creative abilities of the pupils of the initial level, the own experience of professional training of subjects of the educational process the conceptual foundations of pedagogical influence on the process of preparing future teachers for the development of creative the abilities of pupils in primary education are determined and scientifically substantiated. The structural-functional model of the training of future teachers for the development of pupils’ creative abilities in the educational activity of the elementary school is theoretically substantiated. It is structured according to such blocks as: organizational-target (contains the purpose and tasks, scientific approaches, principles, conceptual foundations of pedagogical influence on the investigated process and component structure of the specified readiness which are the dominant basis, the platform of the leading author's idea and fulfill the philosophical-humanistic function); content-procedural (encompassing the essence of organizational and pedagogical conditions and the expediency of their implementation, namely: the formation of motivation units for future teachers of elementary school on the dominant creative orientation in the structure of professional activity; the organization of the process of obtaining the future teachers of the elementary school of knowledge, skills and experience in developing creative abilities of pupils in educational activities with the introduction of author’s modules of certain disciplines; optimization of auditor and non-audited subject-subject academic interaction by creating a developing environment of creative character; stimulating the professional identity of future teachers of primary education based on best practices of successful educational field representatives); diagnostic (includes the levels of readiness of future teachers of the elementary level for the development of creative abilities of pupils in educational activities); productive (reflects the final result). It has been experimentally proved that the implementation of the structural-functional model has positively influenced the process of training future teachers for the development of creative abilities of pupils in the educational activities of the elementary school. The practical significance of the results is to substantially update, modify and correct the content of the disciplines: «Pedagogy» (authorial module «Methodology of development of creative abilities among pupils of the elementary school»); «Bases of Pedagogical Mastery» (authorial module «Formation of creative abilities of the teacher of elementary school»); «Advanced Technologies in Elementary School» (authorial module «Interactive Learning Methods in Elementary School»); the programs of the authorial special course «Methodology of development of creative abilities of pupils in the elementary school» were developed; introduction of the programs of theoretical and practical training of the tutors of HEI for the organization of step-by-step preparation of future specialists were introduced; in meaningful enrichment of the recommendations on the methodology of forming creative abilities of the primary school pupils for future teachers of elementary school, teachers of higher educational institutions, heads of educational institutions.
