Essay

The work is devoted to the development of a new combined domestic drug of indole-3-carbinol and meloxicam in the form of rectal suppositories for the treatment of benign prostatic diseases. Based on the results of organoleptic, physico-chemical, pharmacotechnological, structural-mechanical, biopharmaceutical and pharmacological studies, the composition of auxiliary substances of suppositories is substantiated, namely: PEO-basis in the ratio PEO-1500 : PEO-400 – 95 : 5 and emulsifier – Montanox 80 at a concentration of 3.0 %. The rational technology of suppositories for the treatment of benign prostatic diseases has been developed and their main indicators of quality have been investigated. The TR and MQC projects for the drug "Indoxam" have been developed.
