Essay

The thesis is devoted to the scientific and methodological substantiation of modern approaches to the management of competitiveness and strategic development of pharmacy networks in Ukraine. The classification, peculiarities of functioning of pharmacy networks in Ukraine and the level of monopolization of the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine by pharmacy networks in various regions were investigated, and a system of measures for preventing this negative phenomenon was substantiated. The factors influencing the dynamics of the competitiveness of pharmacy networks in Ukraine depending on their size are investigated, and the influence of their force is estimated. The assortment strategies applied in pharmacy networks are analyzed, and criteria for optimization of assortment policy are developed. The methodical support for implementation of the system of balanced indicators as an instrument for managing the strategic development of pharmacy networks has been developed. The scientific and methodological approaches to choosing the optimal strategy for increasing the competitiveness of small, medium, large and mega-pharmacy networks based on the method of constructing a decision tree are developed, and priority factors are identified regarding the implementation of measures aimed at introduction the chosen strategy for increasing the competitiveness of pharmacy networks. A methodology for predicting the dynamics of pharmaceutical networks' competitiveness has been developed, and a model of correspondent analysis has been developed to calculate the "competitiveness index" of pharmacy networks, which allows us to make informed management decisions aimed at confronting the factors of a changing environment and achieving the leadership of pharmacy networks in accordance with the set strategic goals.
