Sobran I. Evaluation of collection and creation of breeding Smooth Brome Grass stock within the Ukrainian forest-steppe

In the dissertation the theoretical substantiated and practically solved the important scientific task for obtaining first year seedlings, the assessing productivity, its components, the content of starch in the tubers of the components of crossbreeding and among the generation with their participation during the first and second bulbar generations. Different approaches have been used, which allowed to comprehend comprehensively the definition of breeding value of parental forms - the original source of potatoes selection material. The influence of cross-linking components - complex inter-species hybrids, their backcrosses on tubes formation, brightness of tubes, germination energy, laboratory resemblance, material losses at different stages of growing seedlings of the first year, depending on the origin of parent forms, cross-linking schemes, and the relationships of components of hybridization. Proved influence on the manifestation of productivity of the initial forms, generation from their crossing of the place of varieties, back crosses in hybridization schemes, their effectiveness for obtaining offspring with high expression of the sign, the use of sister forms, reciprocal crossings. The practical value of interspecific hybrids, their backcrosses as components of crossing, the theoretical expediency of their use in breeding on productivity, the number of tubers in the bush, the average mass of one tuber, the content of starch in the tubers is determined.
