Existing principles of psychological support of law-enforcement activity allow forming a system of psychological support for members of families of deceased law-enforcers, which will be aimed at maintaining, preserving and restoring the psychological health of the individual, both in daily and in extreme conditions, due to the co-ordinated activity of special units of psychological support, by purposeful use of scientifically substantiated forms, methods and means of professional psychology, and is aimed at mobilization a set of adaptive abilities. Particularly valuable is the allocation of a comprehensive system of psychosocial support that promotes the development of a person capable of managing his psychophysiological state, to form constructive and adaptive thinking, to establish supportive relationships. The greatest effectiveness of psychological support is achieved under the principles of urgency, systemicity, differentiation and phasing in the provision of psychological assistance. It should be borne in mind that during the crisis of personality distortion of the central structure of self-consciousness – the subjective image of the world, that is, representations and relations to themselves and the world as a whole, which can become the prerequisite for the disorder of adaptation of the subject to the objective reality, is characteristic.
