Essay

It was ascertained in the thesis that both intrauterine introduction of staphylococcal anatoxin and intrauterine introduction of Dexamethasone result in morphological changes in rat liver during the first three months after birth, manifesting in changes in the absolute and relative liver weight and in rates of the organ weight increase. There are changes in relations between the hepatic tubules, vessels, connective tissue, hemopoietic centers. Earlier termination of liver hemopoiesis is observed within the group of animals with previous intrauterine introduction of staphylococcal anatoxin. Changes are found in liver acinus cellular structure. Both experimental groups show the decrease of the absolute amount of RCA+ dendritic cells in both central and peripheral zones of liver acinus during the first two weeks of life. Dexamethasone introduction results in changes in liver connective tissue forming that are in the increase of connective tissue amount in long date observations. There are changes in relative area of liver PAS-positive structures found in animals after intrauterine introduction of both staphylococcal anatoxin and Dexamethasone. Those changes manifest in the increase of PAS-positive structure relative area within the experimental group with previous intrauterine introduction of staphylococcal anatoxin and in the decrease of PAS-positive structure relative area within the group with previous intrauterine introduction of Dexamethasone.
