The holistic analysis of the theory and practice of the formation of the students' political culture at universities of China, Ukraine and France is carried out in the Ph.D thesis. The scientific search identified the
origins of inception and growth of the idea of the political personality culture formation. As it was found out, the origins of the political culture idea inception in the consciousness of the ancestors of modern Chinese,
Ukrainian and French have both differences and similarities. Based on the selection and comparison of the basic theoretical provisions of Chinese, Ukrainian and French scholars regarding the formation of university students’political culture, it has been determined that in the Ph.D thesis the student's political culture stands for an integrative personal formation, which determines the attitude to political reality, ways of political
behavior and forms of social political activity. The Ph.D thesis summarizes and carries out comparative analyses of the experience of the students’ political culture formation at universities of China, Ukraine and France. As it has been established, the effective means of its formation in these countries is the study of the relevant disciplines by the future specialists as well as their involvement in the work of student’ self-government bodies and volunteer activities. At the same time, it is proved that the experience of the students’ political culture formation at universities of these countries has its own specificity. In China, for example, the Communist Party and the Chinese Youth Communist Union play a leading role in political culture formation. Moreover, the representatives of these parties carry out inspection and control of the progress and content of the process. It is also important to note that the French universities do not specifically organize educational work with students in the aforementioned area by curators or other teachers. The leading role in this process of the future specialists’ political culture formation is taken by the youth NGOs and other informal student associations, student councils, temporal counsils, discussion groups, which are created to accomplish specific
tasks. On the basis of the results of the comparative analysis, perspective lines of creative use of pedagogically valuable theoretical and practical achievements of Chinese and French teachers on the students’ political
culture formation in the conditions of Ukrainian universities were determined. Thus, among the perspectives of creative use of pedagogically valuable ideas and experience in the students’ political culture formation at Chinese universities in the practice of Ukrainian universities, the following perspectives should be noted: providing a systematic influence on the students' political culture formation in their classroom and extracurricular activities; the development and offering the new and relevant social sciences disciplines to students, enrichment of contents of various humanities disciplines with educational materials, assimilation of which contributes to of students’ political culture formation; encouraging future professionals to take an active part in various types of political activity, forming a desire to make active efforts for the further development of democracy in the country, responsibility for their actions; preventive work with students aimed at their political activity to be manifested within the legal field; formation of the respect for the history of their own people and their citizenship, as well as for the modern policy of the current government. The Ph.D thesis also highlights the following perspectives on the creative use of the theoretical and practical achievements of French teachers at Ukrainian universities as following: offering the opportunity to participate in various political actions, sanctioned demonstrations, strikes aimed at defending both their own interests and the rights of others; the demonstration of the political tolerance, respect for the political choice of each person by the teaching staff as well as lack of imposition of specific political views by the university teachers; encouraging future professionals to participate in various youth organizations, especially in the trade union organization contributing to the accumulation of experience of social and political activity; involvement of students in the work of student bodies of different levels of self-government, which ensures the young person to become a political leader.
