The dissertation proposed the solution of the actual scientific and pedagogical problem - development of emotional intelligence of future teachers of higher education institutions in the process of master's training, as well as theoretically substantiated and carried out experimental approbation of the structural and functional model of development of emotional intelligence of future teachers of higher education institutions, the core of which is a set of relevant organizational pedagogical conditions. The emotional intelligence of teachers of higher education institutions was defined as a special form of organization of individual emotional experience of a teacher, which is realized in the process of scientific and pedagogical activity in the form of a set of abilities for recognition and understanding of both own emotions, and emotions of students and colleagues-teachers and their control. Thus, the solution of the tasks of the study led to the achievement of its goal, which consisted in the scientific substantiation of an effective structural and functional model of the development of emotional intelligence of future teachers of higher education institutions.
