Thesis for the degree of a candidate of pedagogical sciences in specialty 13.00.04 – theory and methodology of vocational education. – State Pedagogical University "Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University. – Kyiv, 2019. The dissertation is devoted to the research of the problem of development of self-educational competence of future teachers of economics on the basis of theoretical definition, substantiation and experimental verification of the effectiveness of the model of development of the indicated competence. In the thesis for the first time, the essence of self-educational competence of the faculty of economics, which is considered as an integrative personal entity, is manifested in the theoretical substantiation and disclosed, which manifests itself in the ability to purpose-making, self-regulation, self-organization and self-reflection of independent cognitive activity, due to cognitive motives and needs, self-education skills and skills aimed at continuous process of knowledge acquisition, personal and professional self-development in pedagogical activity in the field of economics and pedagogy ichnoyi education; criteria and indicators for its diagnosis are substantiated; Characterized by the level and the state of its formation among future teachers of the economy. The psychological and pedagogical conditions are defined and the method of development of self-educational competence is developed. The model of development of the indicated competence in the process of professional training of future teachers of the economy was tested experimentally.
