Essay

The dissertations holistically and systematically discloses the genesis of ideas about formation of primary school students` creative thinking in the national pedagogical opinion in the second part of the XX century – at the beginning of the XXI century. The source research database formed from the written sources of Ukrainian scientists, in which the ideas of formation of primary school students` creative thinking are shown; interpretational and generalized works, sources – the products of pedagogical activity, data from pedagogical periodicals. It is investigated that the development of ideas about formation of primary school students` creative thinking in the national pedagogical opinion in the time of research took place in the context of shirts in social and economic life, achievements in pedagogical science and practice, which were the reason for changes in pedagogues`s understanding of the educational process objectives deaing with the movement to information society, that was emerging in the last third of the XX century politics, and was the reason for increasing the requirements of scientific works, encouraged to develop new approproaches to formation of students` activity, autonomy and creativity. The analysis of conceptually terminological apparatus of pedagogy in the studied period has shown that at the end of 1950 – at the beginning of 1960 Ukrainian scientist used actively the notion «mental development», «development of thinking». Simultaneonsly mental development according to them, had to have necesserarily a creative component. Later, from the middle of the 1960-s the notion «problem solving studying» came in circulation as an instrument of ensuring mental development and formation of primary school students` creative thinking. Then, at the end of 1970 – at the beginning of 1980 scientists and teachers became to use widely and engrain the notion «developmental studying», which meant the system of development the mentality and students` potentials. It is found out, that starting with the second half of 1950-s in the researches of Ukrainian scientists (I. Vasylenko, H. Kostiuk, O. Skrypchenko, V. Syhomlynskyi) formation of primary school students` creative thinking was tied up tightly with the mental development. M. Bogdanovych started a new direction in methodics of mathematics in primary school – creation of educational development textbooks. His scientific and methodological work gave a push for developing a new branch in Ukrainian didactic – creative of educational literature development character (for primary school students), which facilitated the development of influence of mathematics. It is found out, that a famous Ukrainian didactic O. Savchenko, investigating in 1970-1980s the influence of cognitive activity and independence on formation of primary school students` creative thinking, created a system of problem-solving tasks and vocabulary-logic exercises for students of the 1-st-4-th forms, which are the background of formation the reading competence. It is found out that in 1980-1990s the influence of research method on mental development and thinking of children in the process of learning the basics of natural science was studied by T. Baibara, and the value of individual work and searching tasks – N. Koval, N. Bibik (now academician of NASU) started intergrated learning of the environment – new subject «The world around you» by primary school students. The research showed that at the end of 1980s pedagogic paradigm of school studying (school assimilation of a certain amount of knowledge) as a result of the establishment in the educational practice of the requirements to form student, who thinks creatively, step by step started to transform into paradigm of personally oriented studying which scaled up in Ukrainian school in the time of independence. It is proved, that ideas put forward, will be formed and developed by Ukrainian scientists in the second part of the XX century – the beginning of the XXI century according to formation of primary school students` creative thinking, are still actual, their using, adapted to modern stage of development of Ukrainian education, provides the formation of creative personality, who can open new, propose non-standart ways of solving problems, create formation of primary school students` creative thinking has gained not only the existing, but also the intriguing actuality.
