In the dissertation on the basis of the cross-branch approach and analysis of a wide range of historical sources, a comprehensive study of the prerequisites and ways of the formation of Christian state ideology and the origins of ideas of civil religion in ancient Rus Christianity was conducted, the issue of the Church's participation in state-political processes and in the development of the spiritual and cultural basis of Kyivan Rus were revealed.
