Essay

The dissertation is devoted to a comparative analysis of the human social being in Christian and Islamic cultures. Based on the position that the archetypal manifestations of the cultures are concentrated in their sacred texts, the social being of a human in Christian and Islamic cultures is being investigated on the basis of a comparative analysis of the texts of the Bible and the Koran. In this work it’s being proved that the division of human being into the ordinary, ultimate and transcendental, as a methodological basis of meta-anthropology, as well as using this typology regarding the human social being (methodology of social meta-anthropology), allow us to analyze the contradictory nature of both the personal and communicative dimensions of being in Christian and Islamic sociocultural communities. This is quite important for the Ukrainian society, where there is an intersection of values and lifestyles of Orthodox, Protestant and Catholic sociocultural societies in their interaction with the Islamic one.
