The object of the research is the results of the information and analytical activity in the European integration sphere: components of the European integration direction of foreign and home policy, public and cultural diplomacy messages, materials of the Ukrainian diaspora, Ukrainian non-governmental organizations and think tanks in Ukraine and abroad, components of the external image of Ukraine, materials of the American, British, French, German and Ukrainian media over the period of time from 2013 till 2018. The purpose of the study is to identify and comprehensively analyze the features of information and analytical support of the European integration processes in Ukraine.
Research methods. To achieve the goal and find effective solutions to the raised issues in the dissertation during the study of theoretical foundations of information and analytical activity, we used: general scientific methods: empirical cognition, structural and functional analysis, generalization and abstraction, modeling, classification and structuring; practical methods: monitoring, comparative and quantitative content analysis, communicative and interpretative method, data mining and linguistic analysis.
The theoretical significance of this dissertation comprises the work on the peculiarities of information and analytical support of European integration processes in Ukraine, components of information-analytical support of foreign policy, an information-analytical activity, the work as the components of the external state, internal and external mechanisms, the image policy of Ukraine in the framework of the European development vector and the European integration of foreign and domestic state policy. An attempt was made to build a typological structure of channels of dissemination of European integration ideas. The novelty of the newly introduced is conditioned by the formation of a systematic approach and analysis of the process of information and analytical support of European integration processes in Ukraine.
The results of the study can be used not only in the educational process during academic courses related to aspects of the theory and history of social communications, or to deepen certain aspects of further scientific research, but also in practical activity during the development of strategies for information activities in Ukraine at the external and internal levels.
