Essay

The object of research: history of the development of land communication routes of Taurida Governorate (1864-1914). The aim of research: to carry out a scientific reconstruction of the historical development of land communication routes of Taurida Governorate and their infrastructure in 1864-1914 as a single network. The subject of research: transformation of the land communication network of Taurida Governorate of the 60th years of the XIX century - before the First World War, namely, changes in the features of state policy in the field of communication routes building, modernization transformations. The results of research: the main factors of the formation of the conceptual foundations of the development of the road network, the features of the management system at the state and local levels, the implementation of personnel policies to ensure the functioning of land communications, the development of vehicles and infrastructure and technical facilities are considered. Research has shown that land communication routes is a complicated networking mechanism, for appropriate functioning of which, continuous improvement and qualified staffing is needed, as well as state strategy and support from private persons. Social-economic, cultural-educational and communicational development of the region depends on infrastructure and facilities development of transformational communication means. The sphere of usage: materials can be used in the preparation of new works on the history of Ukraine, regional history and history of individual cities, in the preparation of works of historical and regional studies and popular science, the development of special courses and in the lecture work.
