Essay

In order to conduct an investigation into psychological features of Ukraine State Emergency Service workers’ resiliencе we have singled out three groups of respondents from different stages of their vocational formation: 1st group – 1st year recruits, 2nd group – final year recruits, 3rd group – actual workers. To define psychological peculiarities of people with different resiliencе level the whole selection (216 respondents) has been divided into two groups using polar group method based on the results of O. Rylska resiliencе methodology. The analysis revealed that in general overall resiliencе index in chosen groups corresponds to the average resiliencе level. However, the professional obligations and stresses negatively affect the active workers’ resiliencе level, which leads to increase in quantity of people with low-level resiliencе in this group. The examination of motivative-evaluative and operative characteristics of SES workers as well as their psychophysiological state, adaptation abilities, and self-regulation style has shown the significant alterations on different stages of vocational establishing. The analysis of resiliencе component structure features by evaluating the correlogram structures in groups with variable resiliencе level has revealed that the level of resiliencе preconditions the system effects of its component integration and its overall organization level. This indicates the important interaction mechanism between resiliencе level and its structural components organization which is based on restructuring the complex of resiliencе elements. The defining of predictive resiliencе model has shown that the most significant determinants of Ukraine SES workers resiliencе are such factors as life goals, physical activity, decision making, creativity, system reflection, self-regulation, communicative abilities, personality adaptive potential. The generalization of obtained results enabled distinguishing the main features of defining psychological characteristics of professional resiliencе. The results of conducted research helped elaborating the programs of professional psychological trainings for resiliencе optimization and development for Ukraine SES workers. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of results obtained after the training has reliably proven the efficiency of training module programs.
