Sokur O. Cooperation of Libraries of Scientific Institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Formation of the National Scientific Information Space: Scientific and Organizational Support

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the issue of scientific and organizational support of the сooperation libraries of NAS of Ukraine in the formation of the national scientific information space. The specifics of the formation of the conceptual apparatus of the research are determined, the essence and content of the concepts «сooperation of libraries» and «сooperation of libraries of NAS of Ukraine» are specified. For the first time, the theoretical and methodological foundations of this line of research have been systematically developed, involving basic terms and scientific concepts. Determining the specifics of the functioning of the network of libraries of NAS of Ukraine contributed to the presentation of the model of their сooperation at three levels: micro-, macro- and mega-levels. The foreign experience of cooperation of libraries is considered and perspective directions for cooperation of libraries of NAS of Ukraine are defined. The present state of formation of the integrated information resource of NAS of Ukraine is presented. According to the results of the research, it is concluded that ensuring effective interaction of libraries of scientific institutions of the NAS of Ukraine requires improvement of the management system, which will allow to monitor at a high professional level strategic initiatives, make unified technological decisions, accelerate the implementation of innovations.
