Zhidkov V. Criminal procedural activity of the detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine

In the dissertation the complex investigation of theoretical and practical problems of the detective activity of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine was carried out. The historical tendencies of the establishment and development of the Detective Institute in the criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine are highlighted. The essence and content of the powers of the detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, as the parties to the prosecution in the criminal proceedings, are determined. The content and limits of procedural independence of the detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine are revealed. The scientific approaches to the peculiarities of the use of specialized knowledge of a specialist and an expert during pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings are highlighted. The process of interaction of the detective with other law enforcement bodies during the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was investigated. Proposals on introducing amendments and additions to the CPC of Ukraine regarding the improvement of the regulation of the detective's activity in criminal proceedings have been developed.
