Essay

The thesis is a historical and pedagogical study of personalist and regionalist sociopedagogical issues. In terms of the national historical and pedagogical cognition, this work is the first to analyze the content of pedagogical ideas and activity of M. Andriievskyi. The historical and sociocultural context of establishment of M. Andriievskyi’s pedagogical vision was described. It is proved that they are defined by the awareness of the importance of labor education through the creation of the pedagogical environment of a family model, with a real sociohumanistic effect of family education. The essence of M. Andriievskyi’s activity was highlighted, namely his educational, organizational and pedagogical, and socioeducational activity aimed at implementing initiatives to reform boarding schools of that time using the principles of family pedagogy. The stages, peculiarities, regularities, contradictions of development of Andriievskyi’s pedagogical ideas and activity were distinguished. Perspectives of implementing M. Andriievskyi’s pedagogical experience for the innovative development of Ukrainian pedagogical practice were outlined.
