Essay

The object of research is the process of professional training of future skilled workers in vocational (technical) education institutions. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the effectiveness of the model of development of critical thinking of future skilled workers in the process of studying computer science disciplines. Scientific novelty and theoretical significance is in the fact that: for the first time a model of development of critical thinking of future skilled workers in the process of studying computer science disciplines was developed and scientifically substantiated. The methodological basis of this model is competence, personality-oriented, activity, systatic, axiological approaches and specific principles of learning (subjectivity, independence of thinking, information saturation, reliability and accessibility, problematic content, freedom of choice, communication, creation of electronic educational environment), the study of computer science disciplines is implemented through individual, individual-group, pair and collective forms of learning, interactive methods, project method and case method, and which involves the active use of technical means, Internet resources, electronic educational resources, general and special software, professionally-focused tasks and results in positive dynamics in the development of critical thinking of future skilled workers; the essence of the concepts "critical thinking" and "development of critical thinking" is specified.
