Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of future social educators’ professional training for the formation of adolescents’ life competence in general secondary education institutions. The problem of research is actual due to the fact that the development of Ukrainian education towards the implementation of a competent approach to the education and children’s upbringing, the creation of conditions for their comprehensive and harmonious development, the development of each student’s vital competence causes the need for constructive changes in the content and forms of the educational process’ organization in school, and in the teaching staff’s professional training. The modern social teacher in the conditions of development of the New Ukrainian school, which conceptual basis is to introduce partnerships between the educational process’ members and the concentration of teaching children on direct connection with social life practice, should act as a guide for students to acquire useful and relevant life knowledge in development of life-building strategies and solving of problematic life situations, in children’s mastering of key vital competences. Its effective professional activity at school in the development direction of children’s life competence, especially adolescents, encourages to carry out experimental researches, to develop and introduce new educational technologies, methods and forms of pedagogical work that activate students’ independence. Therefore, the realization of modern educational tasks requires progressive tendencies in social and pedagogical work with children, innovative means of pedagogical action and social support of adolescents in the way of their personal formation and formation of vital competence and, as a result – the need to professional training modernization in social pedagogical in education. In the dissertation the theoretical bases of future social educators’ professional preparation for the formation of teenagers’ life competence in general secondary education institutions are investigated. The conceptual bases of pedagogical influence on the process of future bachelors of social pedagogy’s professional preparation to formation of adolescents’ life competence in secondary schools have been defined and scientifically substantiated. It was theoretically grounded, developed and experimentally tested the structural-functional model of future social educators’ professional preparation for the formation of adolescents’ life competence in general secondary education institutions. The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the study is that: – the model of future bachelors of social pedagogy’s professional training for formation of adolescents’ life competence in general secondary education institutions was first developed, theoretically grounded and experimentally tested; was developed an educational and methodological support for future bachelors of social pedagogy’s professional preparation on formation of adolescents’ life competence in institutions of general secondary education; the criteria, indicators and levels of the future social educators’ preparedness for the formation of adolescents’ vital competence in secondary schools have been defined and characterized; the methodological bases of future bachelors of social pedagogy’s professional training on formation of adolescents’ life competence in institutions of general secondary education were theoretically substantiated; – targets and content of future bachelors of social pedagogy’s professional training in the context of scientific research issues have been improved; the forms, methods and means of future social educators’ professional training for the formation of adolescents’ life competence in general secondary education institutions have been systematized ; – theoretical aspects of educational and methodological provision of future social educators’ training in the direction of formation of adolescents’ life competence in institutions of general secondary education were further developed. The practical significance of the research results is to introduce the developed educational and methodical content into the educational process of the professional future social educators’ preparation for the formation of adolescents’ life competence in institutions of general secondary education, which includes: special course «Theory and practice of adolescents’ competence formation in school»; methodical recommendations for conducting practical classes and organizing students’ independent work in the special course; additional topics to the programs of educational disciplines cycle of the future social educators’ professional training of «Socialization of personality», «Technologies of social and pedagogical work», «Social and pedagogical work in educational institutions»; practical tasks and a cycle of training sessions within the framework of social-pedagogical practice (in social and educational institutions).
