Object: professional pedagogical training of future engineer teachers; purpose –to substantiate theoretically, to develop and to test the model of formation of managerial competence of future engineer teachers experimentally in the process of vocational training; methods: systematic and problem-oriented analysis of normative documents, pedagogical and management literature; modeling, pedagogical observation; questioning, testing, conversation, interviewing; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: it has been theoretically substantiated, developed and experimentally tested model of managerial competence formation of future engineer teachers in the process of vocational and pedagogical training, which consists of target, methodological, procedural and diagnostic blocks; provides the result which is the managerial competence of future engineers-educators; provides educational and methodological support for their professional and pedagogical training and is implemented under the established organizational and pedagogical conditions; the essence of the concepts of "vocational and pedagogical training of future engineer teachers", "managerial competence of future engineers teachers" have been defined; the terminological apparatus has been specified in the context of forming the managerial competence of future engineer teachers, namely: "professional competence of future engineer teachers", "managerial competence of a specialist", the interpretation of which has been oriented towards the subject of research; criteria and indicators of managerial competence formation of future engineer teachers in the process of vocational training; the content of professional and pedagogical training of future engineer teachers has been improved.
